Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, Ohio

Judging by the size of the obelisk, they didn't live up to their name.

Barton-Stevenson Cemetery, Somewhere in the Back of Beyond

To get there, you have to walk back this path for more than a quarter mile, after driving half a mile back along a farmer's field. The nearest town, if you can call it that, is Cridersville.

Log Cabin Tombstones

I've known about this WTF item, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery, near Cridersville, since last year, and blogged more pictures.
Yesterday, I believe I may have found the duplicate Brad Harvey mentioned in his comment. It's at Bethel Cemetery, somewhere near Cridersville ( Whole damn area's Bumfuck, Egypt to me. ) and, except for the name, it's an exact duplicate. I can't help but wonder if some local stonecutter did them or if they were mass-produced somewhere.
You'll find other log cabin tombstones here, here, and here.

Worth a Look

Here's a good gallery of Unique Graves, Headstones, and Tombstones.

And the Winner Is.......

Oh, hell, just go read the damn thing. I don't even know where to begin. Crass? Nouveau riche? Pretentious? Tacky? All of the above? When you have a murdered criminal, a gold coffin, a fucking stretch hummer, and a drunken tooth fairy all in the same damn story, my mind shuts down to avoid apoplexy.
